Love the detail in the mold Anton, looks great. What is going to power the prototype? Any shots of the gear?

Hi, Ianober

we test flight the prototype of F-86 1/5 powered by P-160 and Rhino very well, I suggest to use the 14kg to 17 kg thrust will be very well,

about the scale L/G that Dr. Likai will send the scale L/G to Florida Jet Meet from Taiwan directly, I will show the pictures of scale L/G here as soon,

Best Regards

Anton

Wow... That looks great. I keep saying I am not the biggest F-86 fan but when I see moulding like that I change my mind. SO much for my cutting back this season. LOL
Now anyone out there got a nice scheme for a Saber?? I am a bit bored with Silver ones ( Although if one with funky colours came along ) Anything out of the ordinary appreciated.
Regards Al

I saw a desk display model of an all-gold F-86 on an Air Force officer's desk (he was a C-130 driver, go figure!) down in Norfolk, VA. I was always curious about the scheme .. it was one of those high-fidelity "airplane on a stick" models .. must have been modeled after some special instance of the F-86. Often thought it would make a beautiful model.

Anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Will there be a Fowler Flap option like on the big BVM Saber......love the slats.....

On the Skymaster site, airframe prices listed are 2695.00 for unpainted and 3295.00 painted......initial color schemes are those of his current Saber plus a couple of new ones.....

This is gonna be an awesome 90 X 90 or thereabouts Saber.....

Wow, I think I saw that Ejercito del Aire F-86 at Cuatro Vientos Museum in Madrid last year. It would look aswesome in the air.

Not bad not bad.. I seem to remember a south American scheme which was a silver base but had loads of different bright colours. ( Oranges and reds )
I will keep looking
The other choice is that I do it in the green and grey RAF colours with lots of weathering.

Hi Ali, nice choice. I like this scheme.
Was the scheme of the Argentinian aerobatic team called "Cruz Del Sur" in the 60's.
One very good source for making this scheme is Aerocalcas available from flightdecs:
http://flightdecs.ca/aa_aerocalcas/48000.htm

This is one of my next project, exactly in this scheme...

Anton, do you know yet which paint schemes you will be offering. Very interested in this one because of the size and detail.

Thanks,
Billy
