Default Mississippi Afterburner

It's time for the 18th MA. Call Dawn now for hotels @800-527-1630. Be ready to eat. Sat. nite will be the 100lb pig roast, fried catfish, several homemade ice creams, several flavors of cobblers AND 200lb of mudbugs cooked up by chef David Reid. He said wimps will not be allowed to belly up at the crawfish table. Tom and Jane Antlfinger are required to do the chocolate cookies. Friday, once again, Capt. Rich Schafer(Tracer) will do a mini airshow at noon with a T-38 from Columbus MS AFB. If you missed it last time...WOW. With a little bit of luck Major Buck Garza will do a fly by in his F-18 from Dallas on his way to fly his rc stuff here. Y'all put some pressure on him to get it done. Set up can start wed at 12:00...not 11:55 or suffer the wrath of our redneck cajun FBO Michelle who we love. I need to know now about tents. Call me @ 601-955-3826 about tents and special requests(keep it clean). Go to Mississippijets.com, click on afterburner for directions and registration. $40.00 pre/ $60 on site. Let me know in advance so I can prepare for food.

All that plus Memphis Q, wet on the way down, and dry on the trip home.....

And don't forget, convenient Jet A at the pump with a credit card, about 150 yds from the flightline......

And maybe, just maybe some deeeelicious breakfasts at the field.....

Don't get no better!

David:

Guess I am going to have to bring you down couple of pounds of Wisconsin's finest Brick Cheese.....guaranteeeed to dry you out.......maybe for a week or more.....

On the way down it's Corky's, Memphis' best wet BQ, and heading home, it's Vergo's Rendezvous for the best dry rub in the world......[sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]...and by the way, that ain't an oriental massage parlor........

And bring all 4 dawgs.....that way Bob-O won't get outa breath shagging re-kitted jets......he's getting on in years....almost catching up to me......

"Hoping to make it" won't work. It's been changed to "REQUIRED to make it"

Vernon / David,

Yeah so i would love to make it down there to fly with you guys that weekend! However, i think there is some minor deal that same weekend that will probably prevent me from getting down there! Maybe we could start our honeymoon at MS Afterburner...i'll have to see if i can talk her into it!! Maybe next year... Look forward to seeing you guys at the MAC in june!

Bob-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Just make sure breakfast is ready before I get there!

DR

And Tom, I will take a block of that Wisconsin Chedda! That reminds me 2 or 3 years ago Coal got hold of a pound of cheese that someone left in a cooler under our tent.....he enjoyed it but it does NOT have the same effect on dawgs!

Riley will be coming and probably the Teague monster! I'm thinking if I don't bing Teague Dawn will shoot me!
