Default Can anyone help with this problem?

Hi

I have a home built turbine with an airworks fuel pump, when trying to prime the pump it wont suck any fuel, then when manually drawing fuel through it ran but wont move any fuel, the fuel movesback and forth in the pipe and the pump soundchanges with this.

Iwas thinking maybe the drive shaft from the motor is slipping?

Thanks

If you run the pump and it will not bring fuel up to the turbine, It's one of two things generally. Your system has a leak/hole in it or your pump is no good. Try to fing another. Something like a flightworks and try that. Good luck

You may have an air leak in the plumbing. Throw away all of your plumbing and re-do it making sure there is no-where air can get into the lines. Tie wire all of the connections. See if that helps

Verify that your fuel solenoid is opening. If there is any doubt bypass the solenoid to see if that's the problem.

Hook up a line from an auxiliary tank or jar directly to the pump inlet to see if the pump will draw fuel.

Good Luck,
Joe

Polarity of the wiring correct? Is the pump capable of running backwards?
