RE: Santa Clapp came early this year
This jet is a great value. It is well detailed with panel lines, rivets and hatches. The paint is well done in flat, scale colors. All the nomenclature is applied and seems correct to scale. Some weathering is also done for you. All of the hinges, except for 2 speed brakes and rudder, are live hinges. The cockpit is well detailed and installed. The canopy is attached and slides back and forth on rails. Uat, fuel tank and plumbing is included. Functioning pneumatic tail hook is included as well as fill valves, t's, and air tanks. The gear looks heavy duty and well designed. It is certainly worth considering if one is interested in getting into scale jets without having to invest 100's of hours into a build. This is my first scale model and I just want to get into the air and see how it feels. Some of you claim that scale is too cool for school and sport jets are just cool. So far, I likey alot. If you are interested, call "Santa" Clapp, AKA Eric, at Jet Central. He would be happy to hook you up and he is great to deal with.
