Default BVM Kingcat Crashed & fiberglass repaired

I crashed my lovely BVM Kingcat on the middle of the runway during the final touch down right before approx. 6-7 feet from the ground due to heavy Crosswind at Apollo field.

This Kingcat had only about little over 50 flights on it. Too bad.

Even after crash it is possible to rebuild. This kingcat will be a long repair or not, but not because of difficulty, more because of waiting time each process of sanding and ....etc... Rebuilding isn't hard, but it can take some time. I hopefully this will help some of those who are unsure of what to do and need a little help to figure it out.

The fuselage damaged and the one of the wing tip is a totally mess but otherthan that it looks good. I feel so lucky.

Looks good. After a bounce that bad be very sure to check your booms. They may look fine but may have suffered delamination. Squeeze them from the spars back and see if they feel "squishy". If they do you should get inside them and glass the inside. Are those the paints that BVM sells for a match? Scott
