i was blessed with this young beauty on July 4th 2003.
I thought the best sound in the world was a turbine. Sorry guys
the best sound to me is a little baby girl taking her first breath!!!!

Congradulations! My daughter was born 31 years ago and I'd kinda forgotten what a thrill it was, until my grandaughter was born last year. I could then reflect, a little older and wiser, on how truly amazing the whole experience really is. The same feelings in two different periods of my life. Words can't describe it!
It sure puts everything into perspective.

Congratulations!! It is a time in your life that you need to enjoy because it passes all too quickly. My wife and I have six children and it is the same when each is born. Now that we are older, we share in that experience with our children now that they are having children. We travel around the country visiting our 23 grandchildren.
Better yet, we plan our travels so we can catch some of the jet meets we don't normally get to. Got back 2 weeks ago from visiting four of our kids on the West Coast. Leaving next week for 3 weeks to visit kids in the Midwest plus two jet meets. Can't get any better then family and friends on the jet circuit.

Congratulations Dave! You too, Spence. I've got two daughters myself, and you're absolutely right - they are much better than anything else out there. Just last week, my 11-year old helped me carry my plane and transmitter to the flight line for some flying. My 15-year old has even flown a little.
Be sure and take lots of pictures of the kids *and* planes together.
