HOly hell! Jed, can u get me a job flyin one of them bad boys? Ok.. maybe not one of those!
Thomas,
I'm sure you can get a pretty good discount...
no no no.. i dont wanna buy them, i wanna fly one like them!
When our Challenger goes to Europe for 2 weeks, I'm glad I fly a Lear

hahaha... I just wanna get out of noisy un-pressurized king-airs.. hell i'd even work for CHEAP just to get out of the things.. haha
I LOVE flying a nice B-200 pressurized King Air (with a nice, quiet ZULU headset).

It's those dadgum Chinese ARF's again! Can't even handle the load of a building falling in on them!!! I'll never buy another jet from them again. The spar webs were probably put in with the grain running horizontal!!![sm=lol.gif]

Now that's some hangar rash! A little bondo and a $99 paint job by Earl Scheib will do wonders.

Hope they are.. one of the worst aviation crashes of the world was about depressurizing a poorly repaired fuselage rear section.

About the white stuff: Very pretty on christmas cards, but seems that is not a very good thing afterall.

Nancy Pelosi will be pleased...those darned old business jets just cost too much money to fly and cause global warming. Good thing her 757 wasn't in there, she couldnt get back and forth to California

Speaking of Pelosi...she could have rigged this to happen to achieve her "Income Equalization" plan. "Nope, not gonna let those capitalists fly around in their business jets! ONLY I am allowed to do that!" She may not have said it, but I bet she was thinking it!!!

Ouch!

Seeing pics like that makes me not hate California's sunshine taxes so much.
Then again, there are those pesky mudslides.

Those are totally repairable - and will be repaired.

I don't know why you think the pressure vessle is damaged.....I see no evidence of that. Even if it was - it is safely repairable.

The smithsonian garber facility in Maryland just lost a hangar too. No news if any of the collection was damaged.

But then she'd have to drive. [] In which case it's better for all of us if she's in the air, then at least everyone has TCAS.

We all know how the roads are these days, never want to leave a jet parked.

I agree with skyhawknut as a former aviation employee I've seen worse fly again. Most likely it will just be structural damage to the elevators, horizontal stabilizer, and vertical stabilizer. These look like G4's. Last one I saw sell was $40,000,000.00, used. So the damage to all of these wont get even close to the head line number. Also one thing to keep in mind though they are full size aircraft that people fly in they are relatively light, especially in the nose.

That's it, I'm building another fuse! I knew something positive would come out of all this mess, I want my ride back!

Now, where to find a foam tube . . .

erbroens,
I'm sorry if this seems harsh - but I can't stand people who make dumb posts. You obviously have no aviation experiance and are playing your fears on your own conclusions.

I'll give you another one........China airlines 611. Go look it up.

Neither incident has anything to do with the damaged airplanes. The first one was due to confusion with the engineers repair schematics - a mistake made by the manufactuer, who repaired the plane. The second incident was pure murder, as the airline did what they thought they could get away with and then falsified the records to say they followed the manufactuer's repair instructions.
Any repaired damage - if not done correctly - is deadly.

BTW - there isn't an airliner flying today, that is more than about 1 year old, that doesn't have a repair done to it's pressure vessel.

Yes it is harsh, but I am sure that you aren´t sorry of posting it. And if you can´t stand people that makes dumb posts you must hate yourself, son.
