Long story ,but I'll make it breif , broke a main strut, had a replacement made but the springs were too soft so I replaced both main springs with stiffer ones, well I did NOT change the nose gear spring so,as power was applied the AOA changed,(Nose down) went off the runway and plane cart wheeled and broke in 4 large pieces.(Tail/mid-fuselage / wing/ Nose and many small assemblies. I did have 3.5 pounds of lead in the nose so I could get the CG right)
IT WAS/Is a great FLYER and I would like to have another

Well I am currently building a ZIROLI F9F that will be powered by the 12 c VioFan so I expect it will be a good performer.. Ultimately I would like to have a turbine powered one as well... There can never be enough PANTHERS!!
