Default Probably not

All of the ducting in the Bandit is going to be sized for the BVM fan unit which is smaller in diameter than the Ramtec or Dynamax.

The Bandit is designed for the BVM fan unit. You would have to do extensive mods to make the Ramtec work...Not worth it in my opinion. The inlets on the Bandit are small and are optimized for low drag and the Viojet fan unit. The Ramtec needs a larger intake area than the Bandit can provide. All of the interior structure is designed for the BVM fan. To do it right would require a lot of work. (And money!!!) If it were me I would sell the Ramtec and apply that money toward a BVM fan. If you were ever to try to sell the model the Ramtec, and the mods associated with it, would lower your planes value as compared to keeping it all BVM.

Kick that O.S. ramtec combo to curb!
Call Patty or Dave and get it done right the first time.
You will save yourself 500.00 bucks worth of Excedrin...... from banging your head against the wall.

If you are interested I have a friend that has a NIB BVM .91 and BVM fan unit for sale. He might have the pipe too. He is selling these to pay for the turbine conversion kit on his BVM F-16.

Do yourself a BIG favor and go with the Viofan and BVM .91 or .96 they work and the airplane is designed for them. The OS .91 will not last long in the BVM fan unit.

Not to disagree with Dave or anyone else, but after hearing for years that the O.S. .91 won't last long in the BVM fan, I did it anyway. Why? I called BV and he said to go ahead! He said it wasn't going to be as good as the BVM engine in there, but that I didn't need to worry about all the rumors and suppositions. Between the A-4 and the Starfire, we got around 85 flights (I don't know if you consider that long enough to know if it's going to be problematic) without any difference between the first one and the last one.

Having done it, I'd do it again without hesitation...

Default BWM 91R

Hello guys

Bwm engines are mos expensive than O.S.product and here is why....

They made of better materials.
They have a lower level of vibration.
They can achieve and stay together at higher RPM's 32.000
