I am happy to finally say we have a location for Best In The West Jet Rally. The Antelope Valley Tail Winds. AVTI is located in Lancaster, CA http://www.avti.org/ has agreed to host BITW coming this Oct 14th to the 17th. The web site address is www.bestinthewestjetrally.com. Tent rentals will be available, I already have 12 20x20 tents rented, so if anyone wants to rent a tent, tables or chairs, please let me know either on this thread or by my cell number 310-350-1320. I look forward to seeing everyone attend an event that has been around for 20 years and keeping it here in California. I will be posting more about the event as the date nears. Thanks,

Already got the days off!!!!! This will be a TOP SHELF rally for sure. Thanks to the club for welcoming this event with open arms.. Please let them know if there is anything I can do to help. With you three (Joe C, Magoo & Lowell) at the helm and a great club supporting you this event should be nothing less than AWESOME!!!

Sweet! I've never been there, but it sure looks like a nice field! Plus, the taxi-ways and runways look like pure butter. I'll leave the off-road tires at home!

I know everything Joe does is first class and expect this event to be the same.

Joe, count me in on some donations to include some A123's, eneloops, a Jet Cart.....and who knows what else!

Also, Joe, how much are the shaded spots under the main pit area? I think I would rather have one of those than a tent.
