Bit of fun frame taken from video camera onboard my R/C jet, whilst playing back something caught my eye, breaking the video down to a frame at a time, appears these two were on CAP patrol, in the picture you can see Wasp flight 1 clearly ploughing into the jet whilst Wasp flight 2 tries to take evasive action pulling some hard G, but rest assured he failed and also bit the dust, Splash 2, lozza wins to fight another day

Just a question, Am curiosity about how many wasps, bees, birds etc...... Meet their deaf by being suck into turbine or just smack out of the air? At the speed these planes fly, is there any evidence of such event after a flight. As for birds how many made it back safe? I had a bird strike flying a champion 45, I was coming across the deck at 10ft wide open at when a dove cross my path we made contact, lots of feather, bid fell five feet from me and I landed, after inspecting the plane. I couldn’t believe there was no damage but this might be a difference case for you guys.

We have had an invasion of European wasps into the UK over the last few weeks, had to have the exterminator around to get rid of three wasp nests in the loft, quite interesting to see the difference in size between the European wasp (big) and the natural UK wasp 0.66 the size, unfortuantly wasps perform no useful function in ecology terms so extermination it was, of course if they where US wasps they would have been much bigger.
And all of them can hear.
