How much for the Turbinator and is it an ARF or kit? Are they going to carry the retracts for them? Is it the same wingspan as the original design? So many questions, so long to wait!!!! That thing flies nice, but Shui can fly a box with enough power! i saw him fly last year at Warbirds over the Rockies and He did an awesome job flying someone elses F-4. Nice low inverted passes at mach 1!

The trouble with a new design is all the wrinkles have not been ironed out yet in turbine use, improvements will be inevitable after realese, this can cause a loss of comfort with the airframe at a later date IMO I would go with a proven design for a first jet and I don't think you can beat the Boomerang Sprint in this size for freindly flying and good short field landing.

Hey guys,

The Turbinator ARF is in production now, we've had many delays unfortunately but it is finally coming about. I've made some changes to it for easier transport/break down, etc like plug in stabs, plug-together wings (slide together on 2 tubes, then 4 bolts hold it into the fuse). Estimated street price is $900 including linkage hardware and hopefully a custom fiberglass fuel tank (100oz).

We will have 2-3 color schemes available and plan to start shipping at the end of this year.

I'm in the process of redoing our website, so for all inquiries just shoot me an email at [email protected] or enjoy the youtube videos, hopefully someone filmed my demo flights at Jet Power last week showing off the Turbinator, I felt it was some of my best flying with the model yet.

The Turbinator is powered by a Jet Central Rabbit and can easily take off and land from 200' grass with room to spare, and probably 100' of pavement!

You should also consider an Angel. I fly with Sailing1 and the Angel will fly with a 20 to 36lb turbine and operate on our 400' paved with no problem. Its also grass capable if you don't have a paved strip. Find my Angel for sale in the jet classifides. 1999
