wow.. that video is an oldie. I believe that was a complete home build job by a guy who went by "pegasus" on the forums (name may be wrong, but it was something like that). I believe he was in so-cal and already had a conventionally flying harrier model, and he built that turbo-fan for the 2nd vertical lift model.. Maybe someone else can be more specific

That was built by Ewald Schuster (pegasus is his RCU name) a few years back. He scratch built the entire project. Had the airframe ready to go and had done conventional take off and landing tests. Last I heard he was getting way to much RFI from the fan to fly it. He had bedsteaded it though. That was with 72Mhz, now with 2.4 perhaps he should not have the RFI issues. He has also built a whole bunch of really great stuff that he has on his website. Amazing guy. Scotty

I spoke to Ewald a few weeks ago, he will be attending Best In The West and he is bringing the Turbo fan engine and will be flying it, not in a Harrier.

Thanks guys for the info

Any info about turbo fan development no for Harrier but for commercial airliners models like the Airbus A330 from Norbert Rauch?

At [link=http://rauch-airliner.com/A330E.htm]http://rauch-airliner.com/A330E.htm[/link] one finds the picture of an A330 nacelle with a realistic looking fan.
But most probably it's not really a turbofan, maybe a simple imitation.
