12X Programming Help Needed
I want to turn off the Gyro when the gear is retracted. The gear is in Aux. 6, the gyro in Aux.4. In Mix 5 I've set the Master as Aux.6, the Slave as Aux.4. From there I'm not having any luck turning off the gyro when I retract the gear switch. I've assigned the gear switch to Aux.6 and that works fine but the instructions in the manual really are not intuitive. Any suggestions on the next programming steps needed would be most appreciated.
The Gyro is rate adjustable and I've assigned it to Aux.4 and it is adjustable on sensitivity with the knob. I've used mix 4 to mate the gyro to the nose gear in Aux.7 and that part works fine as I can adjust the sensitivity by turning the knob. Its the on-off part I'm having a problem with. Any and all comments appreciated. Regards, Rob F15driver |
RE: 12X Programming Help Needed
in the mix, select the gear switch, then set a value of zero gain for the gyro in position 1 (gear up) and your desired gain value in position 0 (gear down)
you can even assign Aux4 to the gear switch and then use ATVs (of Aux4) to do the same thing. |
RE: 12X Programming Help Needed
In the 12X you have to put the gain control in the Aux 2 or 3 position. then you can turn it off. It depends on the gyro which value to use, but most you set to 50% gain because above 50 is attitude and below is heading.. Move it to aux 2.. read the manual about how to program it. YOu can then put it on the gear switch and go to the gryo page and program it that way..
Move the gear to the Gear slot so it will work right. Its too hard to map the other way.. I just went thru this on my kingcat.. |
