Yup Henry is the man I pulled the trigger on a 180 G and he gave me $300 off and free shipping. I might buy a K80 if he decides to sell me one of the new MBA F16 he had at the shop. I might be able to twist his arm he had a few RTF. Hope he changes his mind.

I made a dumb mistake and what I thought was the trim line on the aftermarket canopy was not right. So in any event I am making the stock canopy work. It has about a 3/32 to 1/18 gap all around but will look fine from a few feet away. For those of you that need to paint your canopy or touch up the paint anywhere, Painter touch paint from Home Depot is a real close match. Red is always hard to match, so I was real happy with it.

Got the tape pulled off the canopy. She is ready for the Hamburg Jet Jam tomorrow in PA. Some subtle things I did to make the cockpit look better:

1. added 1/4" balsa to back of seat to make it wider and more realistic.
2. Trimmed the bottom of the pilot and the seat so that they are angled back.
3. painted cockpit tub black.
4. searched online for "airplane dash panel", printed the picture and used 3m 77 spray adhesive to stick on.
5. cut a piece of yellow wire and drew black stripes on it to make an ejection cord above the headrest.

Seen a IMAC plane done like that once Mike and the guy had added the head shoulders on top of the print out and it looked really realistic sort had to look twice to realise it was not real.
