RCU Forums - xtreme Dragon Canopy issues

Hi All

Unfortunately just another post about the Dragon Canopy issues, just for Peoples currently with Dragons.
I have one of the latest versions of teh dragon which is an excellent flyer, but feel there is a need to possibly identify a small issue again with these issues with the canopy. This i not designed to drag down Xtreme again as has happened in other posts, purely just to help identify issues so that they don't end up in disaster.

I have the LAtest canopy and nose section with the two locator pins in teh side of teh canopy rails as well as teh2 front pins as well.

The last flight i had the canopy still tore off and destroyed itself and damaged the tail.
Upon inspection found that the join between the nose section and the fuse has 4 mounting screws that hold it on and once pressure was applied to the nose in a downward mannd it allowed the join to open up sufficiently enough for the Canopy pin to undo.

Fix is simple, just add another row of bolts and locknuts , washers to the top rail holding the nose sevtion to the fuse.
There is now no movement in this area whatsoever.

Hope this saves someone elses issues before it happens.
