How do you figure wing loading what is good and what is bad I am building a F18 that will fit the 144 inch rule thanks

Hi,

Wing loading is calculated in oz/sq feet. So you need to devide the sq inches by 144 to get sq feet. The f18 for electric or turbine...

I believe the 144" rule (last I heard it's 140") is the wingspan and length of the fusalage combined for IMAA legal aircraft. Jets/DF only.

... unless there is an actual 144" rule that I'm not aware of . :)

A.) The 144" inch rule is quite long and cumbersome - it has the length of 4 yardsticks. The yardsticks are much more convenient to use. :D

B.) The IMAA minimum size for a jet is actually 140", so you now have an extra 4" to spare. [8D]
