DTE lite oil
 

Wanting to switch over to DTE for health and cost reasons. Can someone please tell me what is the correct DTE oil to buy. Seems like there is a bunch of choices and don't want to but the wrong type. Thanks in advance.

I think it depends on the manufacturer...I'd check with whomever makes your motor.

Heavy in the summer and the light in winter. Thats what i was told, and it makes sense. Though that would make the most difference for the start up. Once reaching the engine the light and heavy may not make much difference.

I just asked the local distributor for DTE light.

Mine is marked 'DTE Oil Light ISO VG32'.
