Come on Shaun...I've seen your installs. No ''needle point'' needed!!!
Getting the big F-86 done now for Kentucky Jets. Will try to post some shots later.

LOL,

Well, let's just say I've come a long way since that F-15 back in '07... :D
I don't know if Shannon ever mentioned, but when we cracked open that new F-22, we discovered that several of the bolts inside were of different types (socket head, button head and set-screw type) and we both thought of you. [>:] I told him to report it to you so you'd stop thinking I installed that crap! :D

Skymaster L-39. Had to mount most accessories along the fuselage sides to make room for the cockpit tubs.

Wow...looks great! I think I'll cancel out my previous posting :):D

One thing I did notice: Looks like you have the BVM supplemental install kit. I initially installed in accordance with the BVM supp, but found I had to add a bunch of nose weight. That's why ended up re-doing it all and moving everything forward. I put the UAT as far forward as I could.

I see you moved the engine forward, which is good. I ditched the switch/GSU panel board above the intake, as well. This allowed me to trim the intake even more and get the engine further forward.

Bottom line, I ended up needing no extra ballast weight in the nose. The two A123 batteries up there are sufficient.

Fender - Great idea to start this thread! I know that when I decided to deviate from the BVM Supplement on my L-39 and go it on my own, I searched far and wide for setup examples, took pics at jet rallys, etc.. This thread is creating a nice one-stop location for various installation ideas...hope the posts keep coming!

Old School - but the install is clean and there is some bling

That was my exact reason for this, really helps people they may be trying to figure out a certain problem with there stuff. Always helped me with helicopters and my large gas planes

Damn guys.. those are some sweet setups. Even with a scale modelling background, try as I might I can't seem to get that level of 'tidiness' and precision. My setups look organized, but you guys take it a couple notches higher. Very impressive.

BVM T33.....
Marc,

Nice install, any chance you have a build thread on here on this airframe?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. It sounds like I may have to move things further forward.

If you go to my site [link]http://www.gbrjet.com[/link] and click gallery there are some pics of the build along with many others. The T33 was one I did not do a thread on most of the others I have but the pics may help.
