9503/12x
 

I just purchased a new JR 12x, moving up from a 9503. I am sure several have already run into this problem, but I want to transfer my model programs from the 9503 to the 12 x. The 12x manual says it can only transfer programs from 12x to 12x. Anyone know how this can be done?

yep, I had the same thing 9303 to 12x, no can do. I had to manually program 45 aircraft. at least there backed up now.

It was the same deal even when I upgraded from my 10X to the 12X....no auto copy or transfer of models. FWIW, there is a pretty good article (I wrote it ;)), in the Winter 2009 issue of Contrails that desctibes a methodology to transfer the programming. Takes a little effort but it works. Thanks for the replys guys. Looks like a lot of programing work . I understand with the data safe program I can upload the programming to my computer . I wonder if I can direct data transfer through the two worksheets in the computer. Oh well, It may be worth a try.

Anyone aware of a battery issue on the 12X? I have just obtained a very low time used 12X and after charging 24 hours the green led is still blinking in charge (slow blink) mode. I know of two other 12Xs here locally that have had battery problems and wonder if this is a coincidence or problem.

Go to http://sincityjets.com/store-batteries.htm and get a Eneloop battery pack for the TX. I think BVM sells them also.

What he ^^^^^^ said....not worth fooling with, replace that crap stock battery and never look back!

Send your battery case to Chad at SinCityJets...he will install the Eneloop battery at no extra cost.
