Help needed - Setup Skymaster Larg Viperjet
Hello to all Skymaster large Viperjetflyers ;)
My friend Hans from Germany just did his maiden on his new large Viperjet from Skymasterjet. Everything went well and he also did a nice landing. In flight he had to trim full down elevator to get the model flying level. The Model did not feel tail heavy, did quit a smooth rotation. Our solution would be that he might need some more weight in the nose [:o] Now our question for you: What do you think he should change for is next flight? What center of gravity are you guys flying? Maybe some guys would post their personal set up? Any help would be much appriciated! Pics of the maiden will follow. Cheers, Thomas |

Thomas:
What you are describing is very strange and sounds more like an issue of CG. Were did you guys measured the CG ? My Viper didn't need major trimming when maidened. Maybe just two clicks.... Viperjet CG: 220mm—250mm from leading edge at root. Empty tanks, UAT full and wheels down. |

Hi Gonzalo,
he was not 100% sure, but he said his CG would be 240mm from root tip! So it would be in the range you have described. Cheers Thomas |
