JR DSM question
I am thinking about finishing my 103" ME163 with a turbine hidden in it. My question is can you bind two Rx's to the same Tx? I want to hide a Rx and servo for brake function in the fall away take-off dolly.

RE: JR DSM question
Yes.
When you bind them, just have both rx's on and the bind plugs in |
RE: JR DSM question
Thats not true, you can bind one, turn it off and bind the other, just make sure the recievers are the same, dont try to mix a DSM2 and a DSMX for example.

RE: JR DSM question
yes it can be done where you could put your brake on a slider or switch that you could activate after separation..
DSM2's are bound at the same time because the receiver accepts the GUID, which is generated at startup when the bind button is pressed. I dont know on DSMX , as the two way interaction may require separate binding sequence since the transmitter is listening for a ping from the receiver during bind. |

I dont know on DSMX , as the two way interaction may require separate binding sequence since the transmitter is listening for a ping from the receiver during bind. The GUID is fixed in the firmware of the transmitter. On module based systems the last two digits are 00 (no model match) and on native systems the last two digits indicate the model memory to make the GUID of each memory location unique thus giving you model match. It's not generated when the bind button is pressed. DSM2 or DSMX you can bind one at a time. Think about it, if a new guid were generated when the bind button were pressed, what happens when you do a range check? :) |
RE: JR DSM question
On DSM2 you can do it either way, one at a time or multiples at once. Your choice.
