Powerbox MagSensor

1 Attachment(s)
Guys,

Picked up a yet another nifty idea from PowerBox when at Jetpower.

For those that use these fantastically reliable products you'll know that the on/off sensor switch can be a bit of a nuisance to mount where it is readily accessible but this is no longer a problem!

The MagSensor is a magnetic sensor switch that plugs into the side of the PowerBox unit and mounts on the inside of the fuselage via a simple double sided pad. A key fob mounted magnetic ring can then be used to switch each 'side' of the unit on. It works through some fairly think GRP sided fuselages and an audible buzzer indicates that the switch has been successfully switched on. The 2 'sides' have two different tones so you can be sure both sides are 'on'.

Simple yet effective.

I bought one at JP for my Tucano; still yet to install it.

Mark, are you sure that you can have both the sensor switch and the magsensor? It looks to me that the magsensor plugs into the powerbox battery socket.

Hi Martin,

Yeah, sorry, got ahead of myself in the last sentence.

It replaces the sensor switch.

RE: Powerbox MagSensor

The only drawback with the Magsensor is that you cannot access the "Black box" function - that bugs me a bit.....
