Need Help getting Waiver!!

Hi All,

I need help getting my Turbine waiver in or around the Orlando area. I have been flying for over 3yrs EDF small and large. I currently fly my Skymaster E-Viper 1.6M Dynamax 12s setup weighing in at 19lbs.

I also have a Modellbau Tornado with a Jet Central Rabbit dialed down a bit for lower thrust to best suit this plane. I purchased both the plane and the turbine second hand, both are in excellent condition. The plane is setup and ready to go. I'm in Orlando (BVM) area so this plane may not sit well with the BV waiver holders, so that may limit my help a bit locally. I haven't had much success finding anyone else to give me a hand at getting my waiver, so I'm looking for an eager waiver holder or CD waiver holder who is willing and able to help out in my area or surrounding area +/- 1 hour drive.

Shoot me an email if interested!

Thanks Guys!

I'm sure you will get a bunch of people chiming in. (but I'm up in PA)

BVM guys shouldn't care what model you have. Everyone has to start somewhere... and all of the BVM jets are EXTRA expensive. They may be nice, but I wouldn't want to hang $10k on my "Trainer" jet.

From your comment above... just an FYI... you will need a CD and a regular turbine holder. The waiver application needs 2 signatures, and one needs to be a CD.

Good luck, and welcome to the jet world.

You might have to take a three hour ride to Markam Park in weston. And ask for Glenn, he is a CD.

We have everything you need over here at Ocala. I will try and get Dave to check out this thread.

Thanks for the info and help guys!

Dr Honda: That's how I feel, it's a business to some and a hobby for the majority of us.

Have you approached any of the BV waiver holders? I am sure that if you get in contact with any BV rep like Rob Lynch or so, they will be more than glad to help you...

Take a ride to the Ocala field and bring your jets. I fly jets every sunday with a CD that can sign you off. I would be more than happy to check you out and help you get through the waiver process. I have BVM jets and other brands and enjoy them all, there is no bias in jets over here, for directions go to www.ocalaflyingmodelclub.com

Oh but they do....and if you disagree with one you're immediately branded a hater just for not wishing to pay the markup for the sticker. Ask that KC dude who trolls my posts to call me a hater every time I mention BVM markup.

Yet here you are again, bashing on BVM, you're ignorance shines like a new penny every time you sit down at the keyboard.

Go play in traffic, hater. Everything you write has 'Troll" written all over it.

... change your attitude and your social skills... who knows, maybe you'll win over your very first friend or two during this strange process.
