I'm sorry to hear of your wife's passing, I'm sure that has been hard. You are an inspiration to many though. Seeing and speaking briefly with you at Cal Jets each year you've made it out has been one of the highlights of the show for me. One of my favorite lines from the Cal Jet movies, "OK you clowns!" Or something close.

Great info Bill. Thanks for gathering all of that. What a legend and a fun guy to be around. He was at the first Best in the West at Edwards AFB back in 1989. He is why we have the COL. Thacker award every year now. It is truely an honor to recieve one of these awards. Thanks for all the fun Col!!

I could"nt have said it better myself, thanks Lowell for mentioning the Colonel Thacker award. It is an honor for us to have an award in his name, the highest award given at Best In The West. Joe C!!!
