engine placement in bypass

I have a Trim F-86 and a P-80 for it. Question - should the P-80 be centered (up and down) in the bypass or is it okay to leave it lower than the centerline of the bypass? Right now it takes almost 3/8 " to bring the centerlines even. This is with the mounting plate that comes with the P-80. I really appreciate the assistance. Robert.

Turbine needs to be centered in tailpipe

The JetCat mount is offset. I had to use some ply spacers to get both of my JetCats centered in the tailpipe. When you look up into the tailpipe, the exhaust cone of the turbine should be centered in the tailpipe.

center it with ply shims, this way you will assure air flow distributing equally around your baby!
