Savox servo extension problem
 

I'm trying to get a servo extension lead to fit the plug on a Savox 1251MG servo but am not having any luck. I've tried a few different ones and none of them seat properly on the plug (they go on about half way). Even the expensive genuine JR ones don't work[&o]

Has anyone else had this problem and has anyone found a lead that will fit? I'm almost at the point where I'm going to have to either solder on a new lead or swap the servo out for JR.

Darren, I had the same problem with my UF stab Savox servos. Rightly or wrongly I just push harder and they go on and I accept the tightness as an added security bonus.

I am tending to think the connections are safe but I suppose the alternatives would be to see if Savox make their own extension leads or invalidate the warranty and re-crimp a better fitting servo plug.

Try taking a little material off the two 45 degree chamfers on the servo plug.

Thanks for the info; at least I'm not going mad.

Unfortunately, it is on a connection that will need to be frequently removed/replaced so I'm going to bite the bullet and put a new connector on. It's a bit frustrating to have to do this to a new servo but needs must.
