RE: Why they make a cap for the ca bottle
Placing the bottle in the fridge without the cap defeats the purpose. Moisture is the enemy in the case of CA glues. Whenever you use the CA bottle, you capture some outside air in the bottle when you stop using the glue. This air has some moisture in it that will condense in the bottle when you cool it down, thus shortening the life of your CA.
Best to cap the bottle, put it in a locking plastic bag (squeeze the air out of the bag when closing) and then put it in the fridge. Do not freeze. This will help the life of your CA. |
