Hey Chris, where abouts are you relative to Venice? Wife and I are coming down for Thanksgiving week so didnt know or remember what part of Florida you moved to.
I'm about 20 minutes south of Venice. You should stop in and say hello. We may be headed up to the Orlando area that week for a few days to meet some family from California but will be back. Chris |
Holy cow Batman!!!! Yep sure will as we are looking to be around Sunday and leaving Friday of that week so will see what works!! Wish i could take back an early Christmas present but not able.

WOW!!
I got my kit from Chris, and Wow.....just wow. Just had a minute to crack the box open, will fully inspect this weekend. Ultra high quality parts, each bubble wrapped and heat sealed. excellent professional packaging in a CGRC logo box. Cant wait to fully inspect, work is killing me right now :) |
Hey Chris,
Any news on when the rest of the orders will ship - I sent you a PM the other week, but never saw a response? Many thanks Paul |
Hey Chris, got here Sunday and relaxing. Visited relatives in Englewood yesterday and running around here and there to Ace Hobbies and ARFPros.

Hi Paul
Sorry I didn't reply. I don't check my messages real often. Its always best to email me at [email protected]. Still been working on orders. Sorry, its a process. I have been installing all formers except the nose gear so its a bit more time for me but less for you. Also, machinist finally started on the orders of gear after about a 5 month wait. This is the front strut leg which is probably the hardest part to machine. A lot of jigs to this piece but I will guarantee that if you compare it to other A-10 kits even the more expensive ones and then look at the real A-10, you will see the difference. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2191006http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2191008 Chris

Also, Kirk has started a build thread here http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...ld-thread.html . I do not have any instruction for the A-10, so maybe we can relate to this thread and I will answer any questions regarding the build process. For the skilled builder it shouldn't be hard but there are quite a few pieces to this kit.

Spent a little time with Chris today talking and me drooling.
Truly a craftsman at heart and skill to match. He has other items in the works and I look forward to those. Mean time I need to find a job in the area and relocate here so I to can work in my garage without excessive cold and heat issues. Thanks Chris for letting us visit. |
No problem Sam. It was nice to meet you and thanks. I hope your able to make the move. We have some nice weather down here for sure. Maybe I can put you to work on some new projects with me.
