I am trying to decide which turbine to buy for a Bobcat XL I am in the marjet for. And I would like to see what people think of the turbines out there for sale. I was thinking about the JET CAT turbines what do you think about them and what about the RAMS and AMT??

Johnny, here in the UK there is company that has been around since turbines were brought out for model jets, (Microjet Engineering) they have just developed 2 new engines, the
Phoenix super panther which is smaller than a KJ66 and alittle larger than a MW54 (ram500) and gives 20-22lbs thrust, weighs 2lbs and the Phoenix MK5 which is 1mm larger on the outside to a KJ66 and produces 32lbs thrust, these might be worth looking at as they are quite cheap for the quality of build, checkout the website http://www.microjeteng.com for more details or email me

apart from that AMT are great but a little heavy and expensive and RAMS........thought they'd shut down

Johnny, a Jetcat P120 is a good engine for it. I finally got to see Ultravipers Bobcat/P120 go in person, he flies it good enough to make me want to buy one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should have taken some vid to show, it was awesome to watch!

Thanks guys for all your advice. I think I have narrowed it down to either the Jetcat P120 or the Ram 1000. The good think about the ram is that Carlos lives here in Miami. Thanks for all your help guys..
