Minnesota Jet Rally 2012
 

The MN Jet Rally 2012 should be another great event, Aug 23-26, 2012

We are just about 5 hours from Chicago and located in SE Minnesota, less than 45 min from the Wisconsin border.

We fly all day and relax once the sun is down (almost 9PM). Firepit, refreshements, stars and northern lights are typical after flying...

Looking forward to my 3rd year, Dave!!! I'll be there for sure (and maybe even stay longer than a day this time).

Dave, we really enjoyed our visit a couple of years ago, and we do plan to attend the event again. Perhaps as soon as next year, as I may no longer be employed by next summer. ;-) Have fun, and we'll see you again eventually.

I am working on trying to get a trailer to use for transport as well.

Well just 6 weeks or so and the 8th MN Jet Rally will be here. Looking forward to seeing everyone again an dperhaps some new faces and jets too.

Tents and shirts are ordered and working to see if we can get some other chase vehicles too.

We will setup Wed afternoon in case anyone wants to come that early. Will fly Thursday-Sunday!

A wave of registration came in from WI -thanks guys, looking forward to seeing everyone in August.

I flew at Rushford last weekend, the airport and runway appear fantastic and we will have plenty of hangar space as well.

Anyone coming from IA, IL, SD, ND, Canada?

We are in SE Minnesota, only about 4.5 hrs from Chicago!

Hope to also see a few jets from Owatonna and the cities too.

Wed evening we should have tents up and some flying.

Thursday will be open flying as early as anyone is ready.

We will fly through Sunday and we can fly all day Sunday for those that can travel Sunday night or Monday.

Dinner Saturday night will be served where we are setup so there is no interruption with flying.

Saturday night (maybe Friday too) campfire and stories to follow.

Hi Harry,

I am not sure on this yet but I think we will have enough people to help. I am not a CD but we "should" have two in attendance if my memory is correct.

I will ask those reading this to chime in if they have any other thoughts. We certainly would like to help if we can.

I will be down at Rushford Wed evening 3-730 or so, if anyone want to setup or dropoff. Otherwise will be ready to fly Thursday AM.

We will have hangar space for storage as well.

Yea, looking forward to heading back North!

The SR-71 and Ironman F-15 are already in the trailer and ready to travel.

Should be getting in, late morning on Thursday.... leaving Wednesday after work, and getting to northern Iowa before turning in.
