What?? I didn't know they could be ordered. Once I see the full specs it's this or the P100.

I tried looking on thier site and nothing came up. Even did a search for K-100.

I hope they've managed to squeeze 100 power out of the 80. Its a bit big for 18 lbs but at 22 lbs it would be killer!

Maybe they will release just a few at a time so demand doesn't strip supply I know of two K100s coming to Australia this week.

Guys, sorry to have been quiet about the 100, that's because I haven't even seen one myself! The production for 100G has just barely begun, but the good news is that, YES, you could order them.

Thank you,
Barry

Hi,

Finally arrived. Will pull the 2 x k80's in A10 and swop with K100's. The k100's are actually less in weight than k80's, even with the onboard valves.....

Nice...

RE: Kingtech k100

Morne can you please fill us in on the details? Onboard valves etc similar to the P-100? Internal Kerostart? What is the exact weight compared to the K80. There is so little information on this new turbine. The price from Barry blows the P-100 out of the water so if the specs match up, I'm going with this absolutely. I loved my K80.

RE: Kingtech k100

Hi,

Well the k80 as in picture is 1290. The k100 is 1280. The k100 have the kero start valve and fuel valve under the hood. So just micro ecu with pump and battery to add. So fully installed under 1500.

Kingtech rate it at 22lbs (10kg) of thrust at 145k. Will let you know my findings. I am not sure the weight of p80 but it will be more than 1280.....

Regards

Morne

Mine arrived this afternoon. I was able to mount it to my test rig and it fired right up. I took some video with my phone but it's upside down.
Here's a few pics. Overall impression is that it's very nice and the install will be very simple. I like the very small size of the ECU (compared with the Projet Hornet's I have).

Btw, I didn't request the special James Bond Stamping....mine must be serial number 007. :D

So when are we going to get some real specs on this? Fuel Usage, Residual Thrust, Startup Time etc etc. I can't believe people are getting these turbines and a spec sheet or something hasn't been released.

I like Kingtech but good lord that color is something...erm...special...

Way better than the Gold color IMO but who knows when u see one up close [:@]

P80 is listed as 2.9 lbs which is 1320 g but that's without solenoids and ecu so the net delta might be quite a bit more.

This one's really got my interest peaked.

Here are a few pics of the K-100 out in the sun today.

Also took some video of it running, although the sun peaked out only briefly. The video doesn't do anything to capture the sound and the glare off the GSU is terrible, I apoligize for that.

Next step it to mount it in something and fly it. I have family coming in to town for a few weeks so hopefully I can fly it shortly after they leave.
