Jettronics sequencer problem

There have been other threads on problems with the JT sequencer in the past but none that are answering my problem.

This is my second one. I have another in a Tutor that works fine.

I am using two JetTronics electronic valves one for gear and one for doors. The valves work fine with the gear switch on the transmitter.

The problem arises when I tie the two valves in with the Sequencer.

I cannot get the sp (switching point) function to set the gear position by pressing the + or - button.

I cannot get the G function to work with raising or lowering the gear with the gear switch on the transmitter. The + and - buttons do not work.

Time delays do not appear to work (maybe a slight change).

And it does not stay in the proper sequence with the gear switch on the transmitter.

I have used the reset button several times on both the Valves and the sequencer.

I have spent 3-4 hours trying everything and then going back to square one and starting over.

I believe the sequencer valve may be bad, but I am not ready to give up yet.

It could be I am doing something wrong in my setup.

Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Stan

Get a DX 18 and you don't need to buy those sequencers anymore. Lol

The best tip I can give you is to reset and reprogramme keeping the Tx well away from the valves, like at least six feet.
Sounds daft but I learnt that from Dave W and it worked for me!

I have been holding my 12x in my hands while trying to program the JT sequencer. I will set it away and give that a try.

Thanks,
Stan

Any high end Futaba transmitter will sequence as well. Hope you get it working.

Reset the valves to factory. Plug servos it to test the sequencer, once you know the sequencer is doing what you want the valves are either working or not.
I never program the JT valves, I just use them how they come.

On my Hawk I use the DSX-12 Tx delay to sequence the gear and door JT valves..

Hi Dave,

I did reset the valves to factory(several times).

I did hook a servo up to doors and gear to make sure they were working, they worked okay. I never did program the valves.

The sequencer is the problem. The time delay does not work, as well as a few other things I mentioned in my original post.

I did as you did I originally used my 12x Tx delay to sequence the gear and door JT valves. It worked great.

The reason I went to the sequencer was to free up a channel for smoke.

I just removed the sequencer and am going back to using the servo delay for the gear and doors.

I am going to use the new pump I just bought for smoke in my Tutor. It has a JT sequencer that works.

Thanks for the input,

Stan
