RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
ORIGINAL: Pepperpete Well I got a PM from John. He instructed me to resend the e-mails to two different email addresses. So I did a few days ago...and here I am sitting and waiting again. :( I'm not a huge fan of FEJ because of past quality issues but maybe it's time to take a chance. At least I know I can get in touch with them without issue. I can't believe Skymaster simply doesn't want my money. Why PM people with alternate email addresses? Why not just put one up on your website that works!!! How do you place an order with you? I seriously tried 3 times over the span of a month before ordering from FEJ. I'm thinking the way to order SM is to go through BVM. Mike |
RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
I agree with Luv2flyrc
After no response from the emails and phone calls to Skymaster............ I ordered fron FEJ Just got a email that my model is in production form James Should be here soon Hoss |

RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
Thank you Anton, I forwarded email over to this email address . Could you please let me know what resolution we can come to on the MB339 fuselage ? thanks and all the best, Wojtek |

ORIGINAL: YellowAircraft Hi, You think any of this stuff will drive people to start building again? In my case, i think you are correct on that Shawn :\ .. It will probably be an Airworld or Mibo kit or similar for my next jet. I know the build can sometimes be frustrating and not without changes and modifications necessary, but then at least you know its built right  ~V~ |
RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
Been trying to get ahold of Skymaster to order some lower end seals for my main gear of my 1/6 f16. BVM didnt have them.
Any ideas where I can get them?? Thanks Anton for getting back to me!! |

RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
ORIGINAL: Pepperpete ORIGINAL: YellowAircraft Hi, You think any of this stuff will drive people to start building again? What do you mean Shawn? Hi, What I mean is that it seems like a few years back, ARF's were an option for those jet guys who didn't want to build. These days, it seems like kits are a RARE option to ARF's. For some, the idea of hoping your jet is built correctly at the factory or designed correctly (so the stabs don't flutter and blow off); maybe more people will exercise the option of building their own jets out of kits. |
RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
Hi,
For the record, my reference to stabs fluttering and blowing off was not at all directed at SM but, rather, ARFs in general. |
RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
Hi Shawn,
It would have been nice. I have build all Y/A jets in the days they were polyester. I just loved them and building was great. The difference was that back then i was student and worked part time. So many time to kill in between. Nowadays life is too fast and everything must happen yesterday. I still have Y/A twin (epoxy) lying silently for one day i put my building cap on. I just do not see how it will happen. Cause once you started - it must finish or parts will get missing over the years and it take up a lot of space. i take my hat off to those who still do it. Modeller, builder and flyer. Lost generation i think soon. my 2c |
RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
I am still confused by this. The jets were are buying as arfs are fiberglass. It is not realistic to expect people to build molds and plugs in my opinion. Do you agree? If not I would love to hear your thoughts as I really want to built my own jets but what is involved is FAR beyong building from a kit.
Maybe I mis understood you? Are saying a kit is a pre-built fuse and wings and I glue in formers etc like the yellow aircraft you sell? Are those the kits your refere to? To me those are arfs. Building a jet would be making molds and plugs and going that route, way too much work. Hi, I'm referring to kits like the BVM F-86 I'm currently building....as opposed to an ARF like the kind that come built and painted. If you consider those kits ARFs, then my logic wouldn't hold. |

Haha, everybody really hates FEJ, and then buys another jet from them.....[&:]

RE: Getting a hold of Skymaster?
Ok John and Anton,
I have forwarded all of the e-mails I've sent about purchasing a jet. This is the third time forwarding. Hopefully you guys can get back to me as I'm pretty much ready to jump ship at this point. Shawn I have no time whatsoever to build kits. Even building an ARF is very restricted as I work in the oil patch most of the year. I have often wanted to purchase from Yellow Aircraft but the amount of work to get your kits done is staggering and way beyond my ability. I can't paint worth anything so unless the aircraft is fully painted and ready to be assembled, I have to move on. I've wanted one of your twin F-18's since the very first time I've seen it but no way I can invest that amount of time. |
