UAT with a filter build in it??

I'm servicing my UAT and to my knowledge they don't come with a filter in it ( all the parts are clean )

What you guys make of it?

Thanks

The filter is inside the metal part on the cap.

The bag you see is an automotive fuel strainer, there is no additional filter in a BVM UAT.

I can't upload pictures right now to show you but this one has a white cylindrical filter held by a wide screw with a slot, this screws inside the metal part then the sock gets wrapped around it with the safety wire, I know it is strange as I have serviced many.

Ah, you don't have a BVM product, it sounds like a Hanson Supertrap.

It don't need that little filter, leave it out and fit a new strainer. The part number is FS3

You are the man Jason, that's what I have, I agree no need for the filter and I have a new sock with me.

Thank you for the clarification.:D:)
