Jetcat 180RX Sputtering..... Why?

We have a 180RX that was just run, NIB, and all went well...... well except for the weird sputtering/flaming at idle. It seems like its getting little surges of fuel during the idle causing it to sputter and flame a bit.

Any ideas what could be causing it? Havn't changed any of the ECU paramaters. Could this potentially flame out in the middle of flying?

Thanks guys!

Normally this is caused by excess lube. The excess
fuel make a drop that make a popping noise when it burn!

Where did you figure that out, just looking through the GSU screens?

I have a new one too, have not run it yet though...

Thanks
Dave

Are the ECUs not coming programmed correctly?

They are...  apparently the new ECUs have the option to manually adjust or to use auto tune.
