18MZ Sequence Programming
Guys,
It has been over 12 months since I last did anything 'fancy' on my TX and I'm having a blank with something. Can someone remind me the steps I need to follow to sequence a servo operated nose door with the main gear? I need it do operate thus when the gear down position is selected: door open > gear down > door stays open and thus when the gear up position is selected: gear up > door closed Hope someone can help before I give in to weakness and pointlessly drop in the jetronic sequencer I am staring at :D Cheers, Mark |
RE: 18MZ Sequence Programming
Mark,
Offset Mixing is what you need. I obviously haven't got my 18mz in front of me so I will try to explain from memory. Goto program mixes, by default its a normal type mix so you need to click the yellow button to change it to offset mixing. Go into the mix and then you an assign the mix on/off to be the retract switch. In the offset mixing you can change the off/on position for any channel, the delay moving to each point and the speed. I have complex sequencing on F104, all done by this method and can send you the program if necessary. Geoff. |

RE: 18MZ Sequence Programming
Hi Mark,
unfortunately I did not find a manual for the TX. So I have to explain it. German would be easy but I try it in English: - Fact it is absolutely simple - FIRST - remove in the function menu the switches from both channels (gear and door) - go to the program mixer menu - select an off-set mixer - define a switch for mixer-operation - select for function 1 = gear - select for function 2 = door - find the right %value for the movements. If you operate with valve it is for both functions +/- 100%. If you use servos you have to adjust it - in the area where you can select the time you have to test in which line you have to write a delay time. Fact is: always 1 way stays to 0 Normally it should work now...... Best regards Philip |
