Well.....I had the attention of fly eagle for like 5 minutes after posting this thread a couple of weeks ago...they emailed me RIGHT back when I sent them questions...of course they lied and lied and said the Jet was shipping on May 26th...blah blah blah
well...guess what ...RADIO SILENT as soon as this thread died down...I have to say that Lowell has been great but even he has not been able to get any info from FEJ. They claim the jet was shipped 4 days ago yet never respond to emails when asking for tracking info...After seeing the thread about the 1:6 F18 tail failures I emailed them several timesexpressing my concern about structural issues...NO RESPONSE> I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about buying an FEJ to stay FAR FAR AWAY...their customer service is AWFULLLLL 20 weeks since I paid for this jet....still nothing... Oh well....Never again |

I placed an order for a 1/4.5 Hawk back in March with schedule being quoted at 9 weeks. Well 9 weeks have come and gone (May 11th). Mid May I was told that the jet would be ready June 10th. June 10th came and went. Emailed James and was told that the hawk was just now in paint. I have asked several times over the past 2 days for a firm delivery date and haven't received a single response...not a peep. I finally got fed up asking and emailed them to cancel my order...for 2 days not a word. It's a shame because I really wanted this jet and now this. Does anyone have a number or email to contact Lowell for any assistance? |

I did finally get a hold of James today. The Hawk is supposed to be ready in 10 days is the latest. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have been trying to get a hold of James and been unable.
I waited over one year for my Hawk. I just finished and realized the pipe that came with it is four inches too short. I think they gave me the wrong pipe. I cannot get a hold anyone from FEJ to find out what the issue is. I am disappointed in them... How did you get a hold of James? thanks, |

I have been communicating directly with the factory for some guys airframes that were ordered in my local club. You can use [email protected] or [email protected]
They usually answer within a day or two. I believe James is taking some time away with his family right now. Rex |

Rex, they never responded to any of the messages that I sent to those two email addresses. They must selectively reply.

They may be in a spot of trouble as they have been dredging up old emails from me on aircraft I was interested in years ago.
