Programming Kingtech Throttle LEARNING

Need help programming throttle settings with the Spektrum DX18 and Kingteck 100 ECU during learning programming.

I am getting a RC Signal Error during set up of the ECU Learning using the digital throttle trim lever. When I look at the servo setup page in the DX18 transmitter,it shows all travels on the right side of the screen set to 100%, but the servo monitor screen on the left shows a -128% reading on the throttle with the digital throttle trim in the full low position. This is the position I currently have set as fail safe for turbine stop.

If I raise the throttle trim to a slightly lessor position, the RC signal error goes away on theGSU and all looks normal. My thought is that the current default -128%in the throttle trim low position (displayed in the servo monitor) is toolow and outside of the KingtechECU calibration range. Can I just adjust throttle travel to a position where the servo monitor screen shows low stick and trim at 100%? OR Am I missing something important? This is my first radio with digital trim so my confidence is low.

RE: Programming Kingtech Throttle LEARNING

I had a similar problem. I am using a 12Z. When I programed the radio I get a (Radio Set Up Incorrect) error message. I tried and tried and could not get it to take the radio set up. I finely went to another plane that I have another KingTech 140 in and looked at the endpoints that I had in that set up, I had to change them to get the travel percent correct. I also looked at the pulse it was 981 at 0 and 1866 at full throttle. I had 80 and 100, 0 sub trim. I set the radio up the same and it took it. Now it works fine. Don’t know why but it worked.

I just took out my DX18 and you're correct, the servo monitor shows about -130% on mine with throttle trim down. I tried simply lowering the travel adjust value to 100/80 and now the servo monitor shows pretty close to +/- 100%. I would simply find the low throttle travel adjust value that eliminates the RC Signal Error and then lower it a few points more to give your self some margin of error.
