Mark, call me I will tell you all about it. Lots of guys with cameras, Im sure Jim Brown has some shots but hes still out on Safari in the mallard camper, not sure when he will post.

It was scorching, torrid and hot for the Last Hurrah of Capitol Jets, held last weekend at S. Albany Airport, in Selkirk, NY. I believe we had about 26 pilots from 5-6 states attend for over 30 cumulative hours of jet flying-no noontime lineups, scale slots,vendor demosor other interruptions. Lunches and dinners were served at the field with washdowns. Domenic Mirabello won the JPOTop Gun award and the event was virtually mishap free. Frankmay compose a more detailed report which should be forthcoming. Jorge and Karen E. were also present andmay write an article on the event for RCJI.
A GRANDFINALE to a great series of jet events here in the northeast.

Don, I see some had a great time. Just curious as to the bet Jim Brown lost as I have seen a pic of him with a shaved head. Must have been some kinda bet....

Mark: it was just too damn hot to be wearing a fur coat. So I got rid of it. Like it so much, I'm keeping it off.

The "2013 CAPITOL JETS-The Last Hurrah" report was written and sent to Greg for publication in Contrails. A full report, including captioned photos and commentary, may be published in a future RCJI magazine. Sorry you missed this final event here in Dist. II.
