New super 16 multivalve

1 Attachment(s)
Just received the new super multivalve which controls retracts, doors and proportional brakes, takes pressure from turbine and of course failsaves low pressure on landing gear.
It monitors Airspeed vs AOA and will correct powersettings on approach, will also take care of the flare onhttp://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=1928541 landing and will generate a nice straight take-off and clime out.
If lucky it'll let you fly for a bit.
With this fantastic piece of bling you dont have to hold the sticks anymore, what a relief, we finally can fly without the stress.
You can order one at Skynet as of now, enjoy

Looks interesting, if it does all you say then you have a great product.

One comment on the design, it might be safer to use barb fittings on the valve internally as some of those pipes look like they bend significantly on exit from the Festo's and that is not ideal - a barb would be more reliable and probably give you a little more room - and cheaper too :)

Please post a link to Skynet as its not easy to find via a Google search.....

Marcs, look up "Skynet Terminator". They make this and the terminator line of machines.

I'm sensing this is some sort of wind up...........

Hmm, you are not alone

marc s 10-10-2013 03:53 AM

Mmm ditto now you've mentioned it!

schroedm 10-10-2013 05:32 AM

No servo plugs/sockets, some old serial port and weird green connections. I'm calling "BS" and suggesting powerjets opened up some random device and found it had festo fittings and thought "wind up time"

......the answer lies in the file name of the photo.....'whatemecallett'.....???

why_fly_high 10-10-2013 01:55 PM

I guess he couldn't hold on to this until April 1st.

powerjets 10-10-2013 01:56 PM

you got me,
I'll be back..

marc s 10-10-2013 02:16 PM

Can't wait!

muzzgail 10-10-2013 06:02 PM

I would have bought one, but it doesn't have the ability to pack the aircraft away at the end of the days flying. Now that would be worth having.;)

Oh. .jeez the things we have to do for the lazy user....

Prop_Washer2 10-10-2013 10:05 PM

Not realy necessary to wait until the 1st of April. They have the capability to travel through time so it can be the 1st of April anytime you like!

John !! :owe agreed to keep hat feature a secret; remember the implications to be able to rewind to 5 minutes before the crash...

schroedm 10-11-2013 06:39 AM

So, what random device is that that's full of valves, festo fittings and potential air leaks :p

powerjets 10-11-2013 06:41 AM

Mark........em..,I don't know....

A place to dump excess air...

Powerjets, is there any significant power loss if the pressure demand is too high, as a retract stuck halfway?

Where and how do you bleed the engine? Are there plans for engine manufactureres to start placing a "utility port" on their engine cases?

Very innovative, can't say I had not thought about this before. We also need someone to design a shaft driven DC Generator/Starter.....then use batteries as backup in case of a flameout.

Thanks, this is awesome!!

......uhm?

JohnMac 10-13-2013 03:53 AM

OOPs! Sorry Powerjets, me and my big mouth. As the the paradox problem, well this is why I think it would be better with my patented anti-gravity system.:D

Sorry, I read the technical part and not the BS part.
......and there I was thinking my idea was made reality!! o_O
