Another outstanding job Lewis along with all your crew. Everyone knows an event of this magnitude requires a lot of time, planning and help. My hats off to you all. This was my 4th year and each year I meet new people and make great friends. I'll continue coming as long as I can. And thanks to everyone that helped me during the week.

Hats off to Lewis for putting on such a fantastic event. It was my first time there. I had a great time flying my 1/4 scale Panther. I got 5 good flights on it Friday and Saturday. One was in the Saturday noon time show, and another I carried around RC Kens on board camera. (He is very trusting.) What a great location, and layout. I was very comfortable flying there for my first time. I hope I get a chance to come back to this event for the people, the food, and the flying……………. Ill post the video I took as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks,
Joe Felonk

Mike 2 of them where yellow F22s (one mine and one Hanks) and the other one was Barry flying the jet legend F22. The jetlegend F22 is still available but the yellows are gone for now but might return sometime in the future.
2 of them had the new kingtech 210s and mine had the kingtech 180 for power.

Well this was my first turbine jet show. It was a 4 hour drive both ways.

My family had fun. Our only complaint was they put all those huge banners in front of the flight line so hardly any spectators could see the landings ) my fav part..

I never realized how big some of these jets are

My question was the noon show with the 3 F22 blew me away. As I have been looking for a new scale jet and I could not believe how fast these jets were. Anyone know whos kit they are?

I can only seem to find Yellow and CJM that make the f22 and they Re almost the exact same size

Anyone eles make these f22

Awesome job by everyone! had so much fun this year. Was my favorite year. The flightline crew did great!!

Funny how you can go to an event with half the pilots and the flight line is complete craziness and this flight line was ran perfect with no drama. Thanks MARVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a total of 53 flights :).

What a great event (again)! Lewis, this really was the smoothest run KJ yet! It was so relaxed and enjoyable! You really have it under control and make all your hard work look easy. We all know it isn't! Thank you so much for having such a grand event for us all to share and enjoy.
I got some good flying in on the Gulfstream and Viper. Ken even taped up the camera on the Gulf for some air shots! Can't wait to see them. Thanks to Barry and Dirk for all their help. The engines "sing" now!
I want to thank Dave & Shelly for never stopping! From registration to 50/50 tickets she was out hustl'ing all day long. Dave never stopped with the camera, and congrats on the kit win! Perfect timing!
Hats off to all the food preparers! Everything was "southern comfort" (yes, that too..) and great tasting!
Last, thanks to Rex, George and most of all Eric Clapp for helping get double the goal we set to hit for Marvin. Marvin my friend, it was such a pleasure to get that done for you. I can tell you, it brought at least 2 grown men to tears doing it. Your a great guy and did a fantastic job on the flight line. Having everyone standing in the entire place to applaud YOU shows the amount of love we all have for you. Can't wait to see you next year.
To all the friends old and new, it was great seeing you all. Hope to see some of you on the west coast at Best in the West!

Dang well hope I can find a room next year. Sound like a good time, glad your F-18 was flown!

Great event Lewis. Can't add much more to what has been said about the event, it was worth the 4000 K trip from Alberta met a lot of really nice and helpful people. Would sure like to comeback in 2015 but 40 hours of driving makes it a real stretch to do again. I envy the folks that live close to Kentucky.

never-enuff 07-14-2014 05:01 AM

Couldn't of had a better time. Lewis and the guys are the best. Can't wait for next year!

kevinthoele 07-14-2014 05:08 AM

Lewis

Had an awesome time. Long drive but worth it. only 16 hours for us WOW 40 hours is a very long drive. Great people and Marvin did an unbelieble job. An event worth going to for sure
