Weatronic BAT60???

Does anyone know when it will be on the market? "Almost ready for about 2 years".Iīve ordered mine last year and still waiting ;)

luv2flyrc 04-10-2014 05:07 AM

No one can answer this, not even Weatronic. I have "heard" that it could be as little as two months away ( I doubt it, as the beta testers do not even have a fully functioning unit) to as long away as sometime in 2015.

They are clearly having problems with the software. The buzz is that it runs too slow.

I've been trying to contact them for the last two weeks with no response.

Yes..the receivers are great.I been flying with both their 35MHz and 2.4Ghz.Now flying with Gr Mx-22 with Wea module.Maybe the Jeti or the Hott are what to get if the wait are to long.

loukos 04-10-2014 08:05 AM

I have the mx22 with the wea system too Niclas, I speak to them every year at jetpower, for 2 years now they have been saying the same thing..."a couple of months and it will be on the market"...stay away from Hott! I will wait a bit more since thesystem is excellent but unless weatronic get their act together they will loose many customers...

Iīm very pleased with Weatronic to.And the Bat are probably a super radio..But better to be honest and say when itīs ready.Even if itīs next year.Much better than "ready soon, just final testing..bla..bla"
If the donīt want people to email them..just write updates on the website(Itīs 2014 not 1992 ;)..)

What year ?

ddennison 04-10-2014 02:45 PM

That was funny Carsten.

I too am hip deep in Weatronic recevievers with a 10X/weatronic antennae. I was hoping for a tx and am also on the list but it wont matter this year. I sitll hope to see it someday.

I had to go and try a Jeti in the meantime though, I can barely find another backup 10x anymore....and mine is 14 years old...

Care to elaborate? I've been using it next to my Weatronic equipment for the last two years without any problems, and with way better telemetry options.
I still love my Weatronic stuff, but it's not really innovative anymore. Other brands have caught up, some them even took a big lead.

Regards, Bart.
