Cheap quick options for improving Eurosport cockpit?

Only got the tub with the pilot sat in it at the moment. Really needs something. Any input appreciated. - Dom

Me 2. I know I started a thread like this a while ago but the only option seemed out of my $ range

I just flew mine this weekend for the firt time I wanted to fly it before I spent more $ on it

I really want to get the Carf weapon's but the swiss skeem on there site make them look a little odd

I can't seem to find any other carf eurosport with them

I can't believe such a great jet has such a plan copit

I fitted the old 'dash' panel from a crashed jet in mine and painted it black, not a huge improvement but better

if you don't have one I think HK sell cheap cockpits you could cut up

Putting a pilot in the seat is already a big step. Planes look Cr@p without pilots - especially big cockpits. Unless you are going for scale competition - why bother too much. Just fly it - it is awesome.

I just built one sort of scale out of scrap wood on mine. This was very cheap. Its based on looking at a 1/32 scale Revell Germany model so thats the most expensive part.

Had to remodel the front part as well because the original part was just a simple hood. I used bondo on top of the part to make it look more scale.

Thanks all. Am going for a screen that displays some simulator sequences. Very low effort. Only doing this as I took the glass out of the cockpit to clean it and glue the pilot back in place, otherwise I wouldn't be bothering. I will be at the odd UK show during the year so I think it'll look good having something dynamic under the canopy. Will post back on results soon but thanks again for the input.

Bit of research, development and programming and I've got one working running a 2 minute sequence of a simple artificial horizon. Going to have two side by side running separate MFD sequences in a frame running off a 5v supply.

Finished article installed. Quite pleased with it. Adds very little weight and runs off a small 4.8v pack.

Where did you get the MFD's?

Displays were from a mate I work with, but I did the programming and video optimisation, wiring etc. Doing some aerial video this weekend (which is why I did it). Will be interesting to see how well they show up with the cam mounted on the tail.
