Phoenix models preceptor

Not a turbine, but maybe a good possible candidate for wren 44 or 60n turbine..

We've been talking about it on some of the EDF boards for a while. And I agree... it would make a great airframe for a 44.

Yeah, Their new models are very good candidates for turbine conversions. They are all built very similar. I've just received their larger hawk and plan to put my Wren 54 into it.

Extremely light weight for the completed airframe, and feels nice and rigid too! all that CNC work gone into the model is quite amazing really. I think the phoenix have revived the balsa model construction technique a little with their efforts on these new models they have just released. No way in the world you could get glass to come out at that weight with the strength these things have.

Thanks

Can't quite make out what it says up there under the cockpit -- "Captain Crazy Bob"?:)
Nice looking plane; can't believe Tower is actually going to sell them.
