Xtreme Power systems XtremeLink® X10+ any one used this?

Looks like a $27.00 SBUS/XBUS decoder with logging ability.

has anyone used this before?

I have 2 of them in operation. One in a Yellow F-18 single and one in my U-Flash.

They seem to work great. Good for power distribution to the servos. You can hook the battery directly to the board.
Good for a compact installation without a lot of wires.
They are working fine even on the S.Bus2 along with telemetry devices.

Good Luck!

Steve, do you have any installation pictures you can share? I was talking with someone that has an UltraFlash and was interested in rigging it with an X10+ board.

Saw these for the first time a couple days ago. Almost seem to good to be true.

Someone should make a 3d printed case for them, I Agree way to good to be true, but I would want them to refine it a bit, may be have dual power inputs and increase the channel out put to 18.

Well Unfortunately the X10+ is mounted inside the wing where you can't see it.

On this Ultra-Flash I have electric gear and brakes. I was going for something that was very quick to assemble.

I used a 14 pin Molex Connector. I am using the X-10+ to provide the PWM signal to the Rt Aileron, Lt Aileron, Rt Flap and Lt Flap.

For Power I doubled up on the pins. 2 for + and 2 for - . I also used two pins for the S.Bus2 Signal wire for redundancy. Then I have my Right Gear, Left Gear, Right Brake and Left Brake. 2 pins each.

Hope that helps.

I took a survey a few years ago when this was designed, and nobody wanted cases to keep them small and lighter.

I use dual power inputs, two sets of 14awg wires on the large power inputs. Each set goes to an A123 battery.

You can use as many X10+ boards as you like, so 2 boards would give you up to 22 servo outputs.

Thanks for the pics and info, Steve.

Jim you might have gotten responses form the wrong people, I know many of the giant scale and jet guys would really prefer a case and more inputs, the price point you have is incredible, you could take over the market easily.

This is basically 1/6 the price of a power box srs; with some tweaking, more channels and dual power inputs even at a $150.00 price point this would be a steal.

I asked our customers and sponsored pilots, and while there were a few that insisted on a case (mainly the jet guys) everyone else wanted it small and light as possible by having no case. You could put 10 sets of 22awg power inputs into the board right now. I use two sets of 14awg wire myself on my jets, giant scale 3D planes, and anything that is going to be using some serious load.

You can use multiple X10+ boards. I use several in my jets to get all of the channels I need. You can program the output ports for any channel, reversing, offset from center, etc. The price point is not incredible, it's realistic. I hate when people charge $150 for $10 worth of hardware.

We just added support for Graupner HoTT SUMD protocol. Also, the JETI UDI protocol is the exact same thing as the JR DMSS XBUS Mode B.

So, the X10+ now supports the following protocols:

XPS Xtreme Fast and Slow, Futaba SBUS and SBUS2, JR DMSS Mode A and Mode B, JETI UDI, Graupner HoTT SUMD, and Spektrum satellite (10 bit and 11 bit).

The X10+'s big brother has been released.
