Waco Spring Break
 

Greetings all,

Some of us are planning a get together the weekend of March 7th. It's the first weekend of Spring Break and also the time change. A few of us are planning to arrive Thursday P.M. and go through the weekend weather permitting of course. We're planning to stay at the field through out. Hope to see you guy's there !!!

I have already scheduled a vacation day for Friday so weather permitting I'll be there all weekend camping as well

If weather knocks us out, we will try again the following weekend of Mar. 13.14,15... Spring Break runs that whole week between those two weekends. We'll get a better isea as we get closer.

If I can stay all weekend I bring the trailer, that will have the A-10
enclosed. Mite only make it Friday, I'm working on staying the on the entire weekend as we speak.

Good deal! Forecast shows it a bit warmer on sat which may be target date, will reevaluate as week progresses

Well, as of now, and I don't see it changing, Doug and I are going to hold out for the next week, Friday the 13th.weekend. Several reasons as follows:

1. Too cold to enjoy the time, and especially camping out. 30-40 degrees after dark is too cold to sit out under the tents and cookout and enjoy.
2. The time change will be in effect the whole week leading up to the weekend and we can fly later.
3. The guys from Louisiana want to hold out for warmer weather, Jimmy indicates the next weekend is better for him as well as Joseph, Bob-O will be back from Florida Jets and can attend. Roger & Bo want to hold for warmer weather as well.

So, based on all that I agree to wait another week and see if works out, It also gives me time to get my new Viper finished.

If some of ya'll go this weekend, enjoy yourselves and hope you can come back the next week. Me personally, I'm just tired of freezing my ***** off !!! :)

And Friday the 13th is a 9/80 off-Friday, so no vacation required. Even better. Yeah!

I just hope Friday the 13th isn't an ominous forecast though.

There's no guarantee that weekend either.... We'll see what happens. Spring Break is all next week, Might be some us around during the week too..

I am in for Sat the 7th. I have to work the whole weekend the 13th so you fellas have fun.

Im in for this weekend if the weather even half ass participates. Im still excited and anxious to maiden the new 16, and I also picked up a used elan with a p70 last week for a steal, just updated the whole fuel system and electronics, its almost ready. So if the weather allows I may be maidening two jets,,
