Turbine engine found @ florida jets
Well, it's been almost two weeks now and I thought by now Somebody would have called and asked if we found a turbine that was left behind on a table at Florida Jets.
Nobody has contacted me. Calls for Eyeglasses, cell phones and wallets....Yes. Turbines....No. So, I have a Turbine and will gladly ship it to anybody who can describe it. It has some specific identifiers on it so it should be easy. If no one responds, I'll see if I can get the manufacturer to trace the owner through the serial number, and hopefully there haven't ben too many of them! That's it. Sorry their isn't anything for the "lurkers" to spin or ***** about! :p |
It's mine!! I can describe it..... it has a spinny thing in the middle and a hole in the front and back  Wow! Someone must have a lot of stuff to not notice a missing turbine.
|
It burns turbine fuel, makes noise, costs money and my wife probably hates it... Does that cover it?
|
i have left a few things at the field before but a turbine!!! i would like to see his face when he goes for his next start up
|
I sure hope this isn't a case where the owner doesn't even know it's missing...
An example would be "Mr. Turbine Owner" gave the turbine to a factory rep to send back for service, and the rep mistakenly left the turbine sitting on the table. Neither party would be aware that there was a missing turbine for a while until the owner started asking when is my turbine going to be out of service... :p |
Now, that makes the most sense! So, if enough guys read the thread, if you left your engine for service, perhaps it never got there!
I'm gonna call all the reps that I know were there and ask of they were supposed to take anything back with them. |
Well if it a Jet Central Cheetah...it could be mine! Although I had my name written on the box and a paper with all of my info inside of the traditional black carrying case....;)
If it was a Jet Central Rabbit...call Jim Hiller:D |
Found the Owner!! The scenario described by RCisFUN hit the nail right on the head! The motor is on the way to be serviced!
Thread can be Closed! |

I should have left mine on the table too...A lot cheaper than what was wanted to service it...
|
