Dubd ,I believe he has a JetCat 160x for the power plant & sushi hunter You are correct, it intense flight more for the maiden ,than any issues.... His Cheshire Grin is the BEST !! way to go Vin..

From the indention in the thumb, must have been a very intense flight.
Dantley...its the 160sx I bought from you about a year ago, 41lbs dry 160oz of gas. Plenty of power for my type of flying. I need to move the door cylinders to get a better geometry (doors are flapping open a little) and beef up the nose strut spring (it was compressing on take off roll). Other than that everything is working perfect. Vin... PS: TY for the great pics Joe!! |
That does look like a successful maiden smile, they are easy to recognized.
|
nice vin
|
Vin congrats on the maiden...I didnt know you were that close.
|
NIce job Vincent! Looks great! Ive always wanted another one of these!
I flew mine with a 160se. seemed perfect back then! Scott |
Vinny, I'll send you the bill for the consultations...lol :) Nice job!
|
Did u decide to use a UP valve or electronic sequencer for the gear and doors?
|
Glad the 160sx found a good home. The pics of your Sabre makes me want to finish mine ASAP.

Ty Anton :D

hi great plane. I am working on one now.question do u use 1/2 slats or full slats for take off thanks john
|
i did not use slats for takeoff. I don't think it would hurt to use them maybe half throw but it's really not needed.
Vin... |
thanks john
|
Vin, which gear door sequencer did you use? Beautiful 86 man!!
