BVM Bobcat XL
 

Hi would anyone have a pdf manual they could send me for the BVM Bobcat xl I no this is a old model but still a great bit of kit just bought one and the manual would be useful also some pics of the equipment install would be helpful just to get an idea of the best position of everything so as to get the c/g right without using a boat load of lead.

If if anyone has a manual they could send me that would be great.

Where are you located?
I have two manuals, and might be able to send one to you as long as the postage isn't too high.
This manual is not available in PDF format at BVM.
The possibility of scanning and sending it is an option, but it is 54 pages.
I could scan just the equipment installation pages if that would suffice.

Hi I have the manual now.
ideally some info regarding battery positions etc I will be using 2 lipos for power supply with a powerbox sensor switch and maybe a wren s/s or a merlin 100 not sure which one yet. Just need to now if the battery's need to be kept right up in the nose. Don't really want to add much lead if I don't have to.
As much info as possible will be really helpfull

I basically just stuffed everything in the area between the Center tank and nose gear. Air tanks in the nose and no lead was needed on my xl.

+ What Jeremy said. I have a Bobcat Std, (almost identical), and I just mounted the flight and ECU batteries on a tray under the hood (canopy) with air tanks in the nose space.. Engine is a VT 80. No lead required.. If you have a heavier engine, the batts could easily be shifted up into the nose space..

2 Lipos + sensor switch, ideal set up, IMHO..
